I never read the book. So…with about 20 minutes left in the film – a film I’m actually kinda enjoying, mind you – Dewey lets me know he’s gotta make tinkle-potty. I implore him…”no…can’t you wait fifteen more minutes, buddy? Please?”
“Nope. Now!”
So out we go. It’s a lovely walk on an unseasonably warm evening here in Chicago.
We get back and I hit the play button. The movie ends and I turn to Dewey and I say, “Jeez, our walk was so much better than that ending!”
This film is nominated for a SAG…uh…why, exactly?
(Note: Dewey is my dog – see the logo above the name of the blog – and we regularly have actual conversations…don’t want you to think I bring an actual human outside to go to the bathroom)
